Minecraft builds are an integral part of the community experience in everyone's favorite game about knocking down trees. There are many amazing things to see. From the functional, like this YouTuber turning Pac-Man into an horror show, to more traditional, such as these Civilisation VI cutscene replicas. Mojang sometimes runs competitions to encourage players, although many of these are unbound creativity.
Mojang challenged players to create amazing Star Wars-themed things with blocks. Ashwood won the competition for his creation of the Vuutun Palaa (a Lucrehulk Class battleship that was in charge during the Naboo invasion in Episode 1): secretly, the best Star Wars film.
Ashwood, who goes under Gumliii in Reddit, explained that the build does not have an interior at the moment, but they are looking into it. Gumliii made several Star Wars-themed builds, which you can see on their Planet Minecraft Page. They also mentioned that they will be uploading this build there so you can play with it. It has a diameter around 1,300 blocks, and the maximum height limit of 383 block. It's big.
Other entries include stunning cityscapes, as well as recreations of famous battles and models. You might be wondering how people put these things together. Many of the larger ones use plugins such as WorldEdit to simplify things. Gumliii spent two weeks building it. It's still a massive effort, even with the plugins.
This Lucrehulk Battleship won me the Star Wars Build Contest! From Minecraft
This Lego-built Minecraft piston is a great example of complex builds. It moves, even though they didn't make Redstone work, which is probably the best part.
